Yoga
Derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Yuj’, Yoga means the union of the individual consciousness or soul with the consciousness of the universe or the spirit. It is a 5000 year old Indian body of knowledge.
We try to impart to our learners the basics of yoga which include the 'Pranayam’ and ‘Postural asanas’. Pranayam is the extension & control of one’s breath. Practicing proper techniques of breathing can help bring more oxygen to the blood & brain, eventually helping control ‘Prana’ or the vital life energy.
